The art of Pichwai originated over 400 years ago, illustrating tales of Shrinathji, an incarnation of Krishna, the deity manifest as a seven-year-old child. What started as a religious practice, is an art today and finds place in the form of paintings and wall hangings in homes of many art connoisseurs.
